The great native Herefordshire breed!

They are dual purpose with fabulous wool and great ‘traditonal’ tasting meat. The breed is known for its resistance to foot rot, and its laid back nature and size make them very east to handle.

Our ‘Wookie’ flock was established in 2009 and now consists of around 15 breeding ewes being a mixture of homebred and bough tin bloodlines.

This year we used Hawthorns Yazoo to build size and length and Sapphire York for his solid conformation.

Our Coloured Ryeland flock was established shortly after and now runs at 12 breeding ewes with a variety of top bloodlines.

Tups used this year we have once again used Ryeside Coloured Xtra Teddy , Snelson Yeoman and are very excited to be using Siandy Zacariah for the first time.

We have had success in the show ring and in society flock competitions but mainly keep them as we just love them! Our lambs are treated as any commercial flock - ensuring healthy strong lambs and good mothers.

Please contact us for stock for sale, 2021 lambs will be available after weaning at the end of May.

We currently have small selection of ewe lambs from both our white and coloured flocks available for sale.
